- We are delighted to present a new opportunity for a Transport Planning Co-ordinator to work with our established and successful clients based in Peterborough.
What you will be doing:- Developing and optimising transport plans to ensure efficient delivery of goods
- Coordinating with drivers and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery
- Monitoring transport operations and providing solutions to any issues that arise
- Effective Route Planning
- Ensuring compliance with transportation regulations and company policies
- Analyzing data to improve transport efficiency and reduce costs
Who we are looking for:- Excellent organisation and coordination skills
- Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in transport planning software and Microsoft Office
- Able to work the following shift:
- 35 hours average per working week
Week 1 – Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun.
Week 2 – Wed, Thurs
Hours – 8am-6pm (some flexibility required – occasional 7am-5pm shifts may be required)
